Parish Picnic

The parish picnic is held the Sunday after Labor Day every year. Mass is at 11:00 am in the Knights of Columbus Shelter house in Paradise Park. Following mass is a carry in lunch in the Knights of Columbus Hall. There are games and activities for the children, and plenty of good food and fellowship for all!

Ladies Luncheon

The Ladies Luncheon is held on the third Wednesday of every month in the St. Pius X Undercroft. The ladies gather at 12:00 noon for a prayer service, followed by a carry in lunch. After lunch the ladies enjoy visiting and playing cards. All are welcome! For more information contact Inice at (660) 263-7126.

Knights of Columbus Council 995

We are blessed with a wonderful group of Knights here at St. Pius X. The Knights meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday each month at the Knights of Columbus Hall. For information about this worthwhile organization you can call Mike Mattox at 269-8088.

Journey to Bethlehem

This is a community re-enactment of the Journey to Bethlehem. Small groups are led by a guide from the Shephard's camp through Bethlehem to the Blessed Nativity. To volunteer to be part of this amazing adventure contact the Parish Office at (660) 263-5243.

St. Vincent de Paul

Assistance - Funds are distributed to those in need according to the Parish Guidelines. Call (660)263-3169 or call 651-5112 MARTI.

Christmas Season - Food Baskets /Fruit Plates are distributed to those in need. This is a wonderful experience for the volunteers. The food is gathered and on the Saturday morning before Christmas the baskets and plates are organized and distributed. To volunteer or for more information contact Wanda Finnigan at (660) 263-6182. A Giving Tree is placed in the entry of the church to help those in need in conjunction with the Caring Communities of Randolph County. Perpetual Adoration

What a Blessed Activity! We are fortunate to have our Adoration Chapel open 24 hours a day here at St. Pius X. This program started during Lent in 2003and is a wonderful way to show our Blessed Mother how much we love her son, by sharing a small portion of our week by his side.
